Public safety and economic stability is among my priorities. I want the city to be fiscally responsible and do what it can to cut wasteful spending. I do believe in energy conservation and helping both home owners and businesses save money on utilities without imposing additional restrictions on them. I do believe we need to plant more trees in our residential neighborhoods and make our commercial areas more desirable to new business growth. We need to fill up our commercial vacancies by offering new businesses true incentives and help out our many existing and loyal small businesses succeed and not just survive. We need to be truly business friendly and not just say we are. We also need to streamline permits and plan check process to encourage new business. I do hope I can get your support and the support of your friends and family. I want to help maintain and promote family unity and the safety of all the families that live in this wonderful city.

Within the last two weeks Torrance City Council candidate Aurelio Mattucci visited over 400 local Torrance Business Owners and has made it clear that the city will become a working partner in the lives of these hard working families and that the permitting and licensing process shall be streamlined. Aurelio Mattucci added that small businesses are the heart beat of the city and we can't stop the heart from beating or the city will die. Parking in the Old Torrance area of the city is also something that Old Torrance business owners are all talking about. A good solution is building parking lots along Cabrillo that would serve as dedicated tenant and employee parking lots for the hundreds of employees working the downtown area.
